  • Camelot Elementary School opened in August 2001. It is located in an area of high growth: reaching an enrollment of over 1300 students during the 2005-2006 school year. Castle Creek Elementary, our relief school, opened in August of 2006, and over 600 students were rezoned to attend it. Currently, our enrollment is a total of approximately 700 students, including prekindergarten. Over the years we have become a small, close knit family. We are strong, united, and all have a passion for working with children. Our purpose is to provide a safe environment where all students learn to develop the skills and strategies which empower and inspire them to become life-long learners. We have many accomplishments of which we are proud. These include receiving the 5 Star Award and the Golden School Award. The school serves students from a wide socioeconomic background. As of 2019, our enrollment was 529 students, approximately 58% of our student population qualifies for Free or Reduced Lunch. Currently, 30% of the student population are White, 13% are Black, 8% are Asian, 3% are Multiracial, and 1% Native American. By ethnicity, 55% are non-Hispanic and 45% are Hispanic. This school year Camelot Elementary School has the following programs: Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten, PreK ASD, K-1 ASD, 2-5 ASD, Support Facilitation, and Gifted Cluster. We currently offer the Basic ESOL (k-12) Program Model for our English Language Learners. In 2019, we were an "A" School! Camelot Elementary is a place “Where Dreams Begin!”
