Dear Families,
Hello Week & Resiliency Day (Sept 21 - Sept 25th) is a special time dedicated to fostering connection, positivity, and personal growth across our campus.
Hello Week is all about creating a warm, inclusive environment where every student feels seen, valued, and connected. Alongside these daily connections, our focus on Resiliency helps students discover their inner strength.
Resilience is our ability to bounce back when facing obstacles, adapt to unexpected changes, and keep going when things get tough. Teaching resilience gives our children the emotional toolkit they need to navigate life's natural ups and downs with optimism and confidence.
This focus ties directly into our school-wide Character Trait for September: Perseverance.
Perseverance means sticking with something and refusing to give up, even when it is difficult or frustrating. Whether it’s tackling a challenging math problem, trying a new activity, or working through a tough day, practicing perseverance helps students transform mistakes into learning opportunities. When we pair resilience with perseverance, we teach our students that success isn't about never falling down, it's about learning how to stand back up every single time.
Throughout the week, our students will engage in fun dress-up days, physical activities, and interactive teamwork exercises designed to bring these concepts to life in memorable ways. We encourage you to ask your child about what they learned each day and talk together about how your family practices resilience at home.
Thank you for partnering with us to help our students learn, grow, and shine!
